Amazon has finally launched a new tablet in the market. Their latest tablet is known as the Fire HD 8 Reader’s edition. It is the 8-inch version of the Fire tablet and comes with some extra features.
Kindle Fire HD 8 Reader’s Edition comes with an 8-inch display having a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The display further comes with a blue light filter on the top which reduces the amount of blue light that the display emits, this helps to reduce the strain on eyes in dark environment by reducing the brightness to ultra-low levels. With the blue shade on the display, the colors will appear really warm in the starting but soon the reader will get used to it.
The tablet also comes with a 1.5GHz quad core which has been coupled with 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded with the help of a microSD card. Even though the tablet is mainly designed to read books it even provides other entertainment features. Kindle Fire HD 8 Reader’s Edition comes with front as well as rear cameras. The tablet boasts a 5MP camera on the back which is capable of shooting 1080p videos and a 720p HD camera on the front.
The company has also included extra features such as a word runner, highlights of different colors, Goodreads integration and Whispersync.
