There was already a plethora of devices under the Zenfone 2 series and the company has decided to populate the segment even more by launching the 6 inch variant of Zenfone 2 laser. The device is called Zenfone 2 Laser 6 and comes with better specifications but at a higher price.
Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 6 as the name tells, comes with a 6 inch IPS display with a FHD resolution (1920*1080 pixels). The display is protected with a corning gorilla glass 4 and even comes wiht an HCLR film on top of it for more protection. The device comes with Qualcomm Snpadragon 616 processor under the hood and that has been coupled with 3GB of RAM. There would be a 2GB model of the same to buy in the market but it hasn’t been released till now. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 6 will come with 32 gigs of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128 gigs with the help of a microSD card. As of now there are no words on other models with higher storage options.
The main attraction of Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 6 is the rear camera and the laser autofocus. This device packs a 13 MP camera on the back and also features a laser autofcus which can focus on objects within just 0.03 seconds. The camera comes with a f/2.0 aperture and consists of a 5 element auto-focus lens. The camera also comes with a Real Tone LED flash and an IR filter. On the front users get a 5MP shooter which has an 85-degree wide angle lens and comes with f/2.0 aperture.
The device will be running on Android Lollipop out of the box and will run ZenUI on top of it. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 6 has Dual SIM slots and also supports 4G LTE. The device runs on a massive 3,000mAh battery. It will be sold in Red, Gold and Silver colors at a price tag of Rs. 17,999 in online as well as offline stores.
