On the camera front, Canvas Phantabulet sports an 8 mega pixel rear auto focus camera accompanied by LED flash and a 2 mega pixel fixed focus front snapper for taking selfies. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports dual SIM; one of them supports 3G and the other supports 2G.Along with that Canvas Phantabulet sports all the modern day connectivity options including GPS/A-GPS, 3G,Wi-Fi,Bluetooth and Micro-USB. The Micromax Canvas Phantabulet packed with a 3000 mAh battery under the hood.

Another interesting feature of the Canvas Phantabulet is that the handset offers apps like Gaana, Saavn, Eros Now, Kindle to its customers and all the apps come pre installed. Moreover Micromax  is also giving a 90 days free subscription of Saavn pro to its buyers. This beast of a phablet also comes with dual box speakers powered with DTS technology to give awesome audio experiences to its fans and customers.

On the launch event, Vikas Jain, the Co-Founder of  Micromax Informatics  said, “We ignited the phablet category with the launch of Canvas range of devices which proved to be extremely popular among the consumers. With the launch of Canvas Fantabulet we are yet again pioneering a new category that will change the way people use smartphones making it their first choice for consumption and productivity needs.
