Moto X Force Release Date,Features,Price and Key Specs

The Lenovo-owned company Motorola has already started sending invitations for the inaugural event of their latest flagship smartphone; Moto X Force, which is scheduled to be held in Gurgaon on 1st February. Motorola was building the ambience for the upcoming launch event for the last few weeks by posting multiple teasers on their site and finally has confirmed the release date of the all new “shatterproof” Moto X Force, today. Notably, this Korean smartphone company has also decided to launch the Moto X Force in India in the same time they are releasing the handset worldwide.

Moto X Force Features

The biggest USP of this brand new Moto X Force, which is the international version of previously launched Droid Turbo 2, is the “ShatterShield” screen. Motorola said in the last October, when they released the Droid Turbo 2, the display of this smartphone is made of flexible Amoled screen, an aluminium rigid core, and dual-layer touchscreen panels. Also the engineers claimed that the screen of this device is made of ‘five layers designing technique’ which will absorb the shock from impact and the phone would not break into pieces even it dropped on a slab of concrete. Not only that, the screen of the latest Moto X Force features nano-coating to make the phone water repellent.

If we look into the key specifications, Moto X Force comes with a 5.4-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels and a PPI of 540 pixels per inch. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chipset clocked at 2GHz and coupled with a 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The brand new Moto X Force comes packed with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options and also supports expendable storage options through a microSD card up to whooping 2TB.Apart from that, this smartphone is powered by a 3760mAh non removable battery and supports Quick Charging 3.0 technology.

As per the camera aspects are concerned, Moto X Force features 21-megapixel rear-camera with an f/2.0 aperture, accompanied with dual-LED flash & Phase Detection Autofocus for better image capturing capability in low light condition. Also a 5-megapixel front facing shooter is included with flash and an f/2.0 aperture for taking better selfies. The Motorola X Force comes with the Android 5.1.1 OS pre-installed in the device and as the company has already started Android Marshmallow roll out, we are expecting that the OS will be upgraded very soon.

Dimension wise, the all new Moto X Force measures 149.80 x 78.00 x 9.20 (height x width x thickness) and weighs only 169.00 grams. The handset is a single SIM (GSM + CDMA) device which supports a Nano-SIM. This technological wonder from Moto supports all the modern day connectivity options including 4G LTE (Cat. 4), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth. Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope are the key sensor options which are included in this upcoming Moto X Force.

Moto X Force Price

Though the company has not revealed the price of the Moto X Force officially yet, but when this phone released in UK as Droid Turbo 2, it was priced at GBP 534 (approximately Rs.53, 400) for the 64GB variant and GBP 499 (roughly Rs.49, 900) for the 32GB version. And if this price remains, it will be the most expensive smartphone by Motorola in India, roughly Rs.20, 000 higher than the company’s current flagship phone in the Indian market – the Moto X Style.
