Gionee Rebranded With New Logo & Tagline

MWC has emerged not only as the Global platform for showcasing and releasing the World’s premium flagships but also a platform for releasing new identity. Gionee took the chance and rebranded itself with a new logo and new classy tagline. Gionee, has released a new brand name identity at the Mobile World Congress. The new brand identity entails a new logo design, along with “Make Smiles” as its brand-new objective declaration. The action marks the company’s more growth to international markets as well as its objective to connect phone users with ‘smiles’. Gionee introduced S8, which will open a new age of mobile videography and digital photography.


Gionee is one of the emerging leaders in smartphone manufacturing. Gionee is competing in all develpoing markets like China, India, Brazil etc. The grinning face on new logo reveals our desire to create joy by establishing integrated access to use modern technology and user friendly interaction tools. By adding emotional parts to their mobile phones, the company believes in ‘smilephones’ will certainly enable them to keep an area in the hearts of the customers and also get a solid platform in the industry”.

The new logo design combines the letters “i” and also “j” to develop a “G” which represents Gionee and subtly communicates the message, “I am joyful”. The lightened up orange color indicates an energised, enthusiastic and warm image.
