After launching the Era 4K handset, the Chinese smartphone makers Xolo has unveiled a brand new handset today dubbed as the Xolo Era 4G which also belongs to the “Era” family of the company. This 4G supported and double SIM enabled smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,777 and will be available for sale exclusively on Snapdeal starting from the 26th February in a flash sale model. The company also announced that registrations for pre booking the Xolo Era 4G will open today (February 17).
Xolo Era 4G Features
Xolo Era 4G sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720×1280 pixels resolution and a pixel density of roughly 294ppi. The screen is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. If we talk about the camera aspect of the phone, Era 4G comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Under the hood, this brand new phone from the house of Xolo features a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Era 4Gpacks 8GB of internal storage, which can be further, expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box but Xolo guarantees that the Era 4G will receive an Android 6.0 Marshmallow update very soon.
Apart from the 4G LTE, Xolo Era 4G features al the modern day connectivity options such as 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, USB-OTG, GPS/ A-GPS and FM radio. The handset is powered by a 2500mAh battery.

Another notable feature of the all new Xolo Era 4G is the phone supports multiple regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Malayalam, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. The company also revealed in a press statement that the Era-range of smartphones saw over 150,000 units sold via Snapdeal and that is the main reason of launching two new smartphones of the same series in such a quick succession.
