Motorola Moto X3 with 5-inch display spotted on the Indian import-export website

One of the most awaited and anticipated smartphones from the house of the Motorola, the Moto X3 was spotted on the import and export logistics tracking website Zauba. Also it is believed to be the first Moto X-series smartphone to come under the ‘Moto by Lenovo’ branding.

As per the Zauba listing, the handset will flaunt a 5-inch display and will come with only a single-SIM slot. Though the other details, regarding the specifications of the upcoming Moto X3 is still yet undisclosed but according to the website the phone is priced at Rs. 6,812. It is true that import/ export website price listings are only declared values, and usually are not proper reflections of the actual market price but it gives a fair amount idea about the device’s price.

As we said earlier, the Moto X3 may be the first handset in the Motorola series to sport the “Moto by Lenovo” branding, as per the claims by Zauba. In the last financial year, Motorola’s and Lenovo’s combined shipments were just short of 3 million units, up almost 60 percent year-on-year, which awarded them the third place in the market, surpassing  Intex, a report by Canalys had pointed out. Lenovo has been also rewarded as the favorite smartphone brand of 2015, according to Flipkart.

As per the #FlipTrends, a year ending report published by Flipkart, Lenovo K3 Note and Lenovo A6000 Plus were the top two most favorite smartphones in 2015. Motorola closely chased these two smartphones by the means of Moto G 3rd Gen and Moto E 2nd Gen which grabbed the third and sixth positions, respectively. In april, Amazon India was also offering some big discounts on all Motorola smartphones and wearables.
