Lenovo Unveils A Plus, P2, K6, K6 Note, and K6 Power Smartphones at IFA 2016

Lenovo has unveiled a host of new smartphones at the IFA 2016, including the Lenovo A Plus and the Lenovo P2 alongside three others from its K6 series.

Lenovo P2 Features & Specs 

The Lenovo P2 is the successor to the P1, and its highlight is its mammoth 5,100 mAh battery. The phone’s heavy duty battery will support on the go charging, and it will also enable users to charge other phones using it. Coming to its specifications, the Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1920×1080. The smartphone will be backed by a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and come in two different storage variants- one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, and the other with 4GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The P2 has a 13 MP rear shooter along with a 5 MP secondary camera in front. It features a fingerprint scanner on the front panel and will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the phone will offer services like 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The Lenovo P2 will be priced at 249 Euros (INR 18,500, approx), and will be commercially available from November.

Lenovo A Plus Features and Specs

The Lenovo A Plus, a smaller budget offering from the Chinese telecom company, will feature a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a pixel resolution of 854×480 pixels. It will also feature a dual camera system with a 5 MP main camera and a 2 MP front-facing shooter. The Lenovo A Plus will be equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB via microSD). It will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone will be backed by a modest 2,000 mAh battery, and will feature dual-SIM as well as 4G VoLTE support. Lenovo A Plus will be priced at 69 Euros (INR 5,200, approx), and will go on sale in September.

What’s about K6 Note? 

Besides these two, the company also unveiled smartphones from the K6 range, the successor to the Vibe K5 series. To begin with, the Lenovo K6 will feature a 5 inch Full HD IPS display, a 13 MP primary camera and an 8 MP secondary shooter. The K6 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. a 32 GB version will also be available. The device will be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.

The larger K6 Note smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, a 16MP rear camera with dual CCT flash, and an 8MP front camera with fixed focus. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and will be equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery. The K6 Note will also feature a fingerprint sensor.

The Lenovo K6 Power looks like a fair combination of the K6 smartphones listed above, with its 5-inch Full HD IPS display and 4,000mAh battery. Lenovo K6 Power will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset along with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB expandable storage.
