At its September 7 launch event in San Francisco, LG launched the first new smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box – the LG V20 – with dual screen and dual cameras. The specification, availability and price details of the device were not available then, but now, the company has officially confirmed that LG V20 is going to be available starting this week. The smartphone will make its public debut in LG’s home country, South Korea, followed by other regions like North America, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East over the course of the next several weeks.

Hardware and Memory Specifications
The LG V20 smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor with two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and the other two running at 1.6GHz and a DDR 4 RAM of 4 GB. It comes with a 5.7-inch main IPS Quantum Display with 1440 p IPSand also a secondary display 1040×160 IPS (513ppi), such as was seen on the LG V10. The secondary display comes with a font size that’s 50 percent larger than that of V10.The device has 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, with a support to expand via microSD card (up to 256GB). The LG V20 has an aluminium body with some silicon made material on the rear end. This smartphone at 7.6 mm, is even slimmer than the Galaxy Note 7.
The phone has great dimensions of 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Camera Specifications
On the camera front, there is a dual rear camera setup in the smartphone, with a 135-degree 8-megapixel lens accompanied by 16-megapixel 75-degree wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, apart from a 5-megapixel 120-degree lens with a f/1.9 aperture lens shooter on the front for video calling and selfie purposes.
Battery and other Specifications
The LG V20 houses a removable battery of 3200 mAh with Quickcharge 3.0 from Qualcomm. The V20 comes with features like 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, HD Audio Recorder, and B&O Play speakers. It houses a bottom-mounted USB Type-C port.
Price and Availability
According to The Korea Times, LG V20 is reported to be priced at an equivalent of $804 (roughly Rs. 53,000) in its home market South Korea, where it is also launching first. The premium smartphone from LG will available in Titan, Silver, and Pink coloured variants and will be available in retail stores as well as Online E-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon post the device’s release in the rest of the countries including India.
