Vodafone Launched Flex Plan, A Single Recharge Option For Prepaid Users

Vodafone India launched Flex, a single recharge option for prepaid users, where users can use data and voice interchangeably on the same pack with no pre-fixed quotas for voice, data or SMS — available in denominations ranging from Rs. 117-398. Flex is essentially a unit, a fixed amount of which is provided to you once you choose a Vodafone Flex plan. You are essentially buying Flex currency with your money. Now, 1 Flex equals 1MB of data (4G/ 3G/ 2G) or 1 SMS or 1 minute of incoming call on roaming. Some services cost more than 1 Flex, such as outgoing local/ STD calls, as well as outgoing call on roaming, 1 minute of each costs 2 Flex. As you use the various services, the units of Flex will be accordingly deducted from your account.

Vodafone Flex will allow customers to use the internet, calls, roaming, SMS with no pre-fixed quota, with recharge values at Rs 119 (325 Flex), Rs 199 (700 Flex), Rs 299 (1200 Flex) and Rs 399 (1,750 Flex), while the company claimed the new offer will provide up to 25% saving.  The new service has been introduced keeping in mind the various telecom pack needs of various sections of people in the country. For users who require a comparatively lower combo-pack a Flex recharge of Rs. 117, one can get 135 minutes of talk time and 55MB of data services with a validity of 28 day, which otherwise, was only 137 minutes of talk time and no data service offer or validity in the existing plans. For users who require more data on their roster, there is a plan available for Rs.398 which has benefit of 375 minutes and 1GB valid for 28 days, as compared to only 212 minutes, 1GB at same price in the current pack.

The company has currently provided the denominations for Delhi circle only. As per the company’s price chart, you will get 325 units of Flex for Rs. 118, 700 units of Flex for Rs. 204, 1,200 units of Flex for Rs. 304, and 1,750 units of Flex for Rs. 395. There is also an option of micro-Flex recharges which provide 105 units of Flex for Rs. 42 or 138 units of Flex for Rs. 53.
