Moto M Leaked Images Spotted: Smartphone To House 5,100 mAh Battery

Lenovo acquired Motorola’s last set of devices, the Moto G4 and Moto Z variants received an enormous amount of positive acclaim with the smartphone doing really well commercially among end users and the company is striving to keep up with the good publicity with their upcoming device, the Moto M.

There have been numerous speculations and rumours already regarding this much hyped about device from Motorola but fresh images which have surfaced on the web now, give us a clear cut idea about the upcoming device and what  it is poised to feature. The smartphone which gained the TENAA certification in China two months ago had leaked images of it released into the web and a silver coloured variant of the device was spotted. The display has the information screen lit revealing key details. The Moto M sports the model number XT1662, and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow alongside the September security patch.

The device seems like its metal built with a fingerprint scanner at the back. Past leaks regarding the specifications of the device include 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The device will most probably be powered by a 2.1GHz 8-cores MT6755 SoC which will be accompanied with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage under its memory compartment. Another variant of the smartphone is expected to offer 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.Camera-wise, it should be coming with a 16MP main snapper that will be paired with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling purposes.

The most striking specification which has surfaced is regarding the battery specifications of the upcoming Moto M. The device is expected to house a 5,100 mAh battery with Motorola’s own turbo-charging facility which claims to fully charge the device in under 30 minutes of plugging it in. For people on the run, this just might become the perfect buy for people who are constantly on-the-go.

The Moto M is expected to be launched by Motorola sometime in the first half of December later this year and the device will most probably be priced at an approximated Rs.9999 on Amazon India who is pegged to have an exclusive sale of the device after its worldwide release.
