Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro seen listed on Indian tracking website

The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro was seen listed on several reputed Chinese websites a week ago, which revealed quite a bit about the upcoming smartphone’s specifications. It was also an indication that Samsung is slowly aiming to move forward with some great new launches lined up, despite the debacle about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 still raging in full force. But it was not known back then if Samsung had any plans for the Galaxy C9 Pro pertaining to the Indian markets.

Now it seems that the South Korean smartphone giant is gearing up to expand its line of smartphones in India with the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro. The smartphone has recently been spotted listed on Zauba, a website that tracks Indian import and export data. On the website, the smartphone is featured under the code SM-C7010. The listing depicts a price of INR 13,645 for the device. But Indian Express points out that prices listed on Zauba are never representative of the market value of the devices they accompany. In fact, the listings that were spotted in China depicted a price of CNY 3,199, which roughly translates to INR 31,700.

Going by what we have seen so far, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro boasts of some premium specifications. It will sport an impressive 6-inch full HD AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1080×1920. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor which was only recently unveiled by Qualcomm. The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro will come with a massive 6 GB of RAM along with an onboard storage expandable via microSD card up to 256 GB.

Coming to the camera, the smartphone will come with a 16-megapixel rear camera with  f/1.9 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and a phase detection autofocus. Interestingly, the secondary snapper also boasts of similar specs. A fingerprint sensor is embedded into the smartphone’s home button, and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery with quick charge support. Connectivity options on board the device include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G LTE, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth v4.2. The dual-SIM smartphone weighs 190g and will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colour options.
