Windows 11 Release Date, Concept, Features: All That You Need to Know

Windows 11: The one question hunting fans this year is the release of Windows 11. There are speculations that the next instalment of the Windows OS will not come out, that Windows 10 is the last in the line. Nonetheless, excitement about Windows 11 is all time high, which is why we have come up with a post that covers everything you’d need to know regarding the Windows 11. Here we have rounded up rumoured release date, concept, and desirable features that most of us are expecting.

Windows 11 Release Date

That’s pretty much the first thing that comes to mind when we think of the next Windows instalment. Microsoft had allowed free upgrades to Windows 10 this year which ended back in July. This lead fans to speculate that now they’ll most likely get to know something regarding the next Windows OS. As far as rumours are concerned, Microsoft is not involved in any big projects at the moment. We also heard that next year Microsoft is planning on releasing a big update code-named Redstone. Last year a Microsoft spokesman said: “Recent comments at Ignite about Windows 10 are reflective of the way Windows will be delivered as a service bringing innovations and updates in an ongoing manner, with continuous value for our consumer and business customers.”

Presently there are 200 million Windows 10 users and the OS has received lukewarm reviews from users and tech gurus. To get right back into the game, Microsoft has to make something smashing for the next year release.

It’s worth mentioning that despite rumours about the Windows 11 release date Microsft had officially announced Windows 10 is the last version in Windows series. Jerry Nixon, Microsoft’s developer evangelist, at the Ignite tech conference said: “Right now we’re releasing Windows 10, and because Windows 10 is the last version of Windows, we’re all still working on Windows 10”. Steve Kleynhans, an official authority of Microsoft, talking along the same line said: “There will be no Windows 11,” he warned, “Every three years or so Microsoft would sit down and create ‘the next great OS’. The developers would be locked away and out would pop a product based on what the world wanted three years ago.”

Of course, this hasn’t stopped fans from spreading up rumours and speculations all over the internet.

Windows 11 Concept:

We are posting some of the most popular Windows 11 concepts. Below you’ll find the concept in Microsoft Lumia that comes in four colours Silver, Gold, Green and Orange. Moreover, we’ve also got a very interesting desktop concept for Windows 11.

Windows 11 Features:

Based on the rumours we’ve been hearing, these are the likely Windows 11 features. The ones we are listing are in great demand and is likely to make the OS more efficient and user-friendly.

Quick Access to Power

With Windows 10 you need to go to the menu and then find the power button where you’d have to click in order to get options like shut down, restart, etc. The whole process is inconvenient and time-consuming, not to mention annoying. The next Windows instalment is going to have a single shutting down button for the ease of shutting down your desktop or laptop with a single click.

Direct Login

It’s annoying to have to click on the desktop icon everytime one needs to display the applications. Windows 11 should come with the power of enabling or disabling this feature, for the sake of users. When disabled, you don’t have to go anywhere, click on anything and directly log in to the desktop.

More Font and Custom Color Options

These features were available in older versions of Windows, and we don’t know why Microsoft thought it was better to get rid of them because frankly speaking font and custom colour options need to come back. The feature will give a chance for a more customer experienced.

Wrap Up:

Although we are not sure if the Windows 11 will ever come out but we do have our fingers crossed. For more news on Windows 11, stay tuned.
