Borderlands 3: Release Date, Characters, Trailer, Latest News

Following the release and huge success of ‘Borderlands’ in 2009 and ‘Borderlands 2’ in 2012, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Borderlands 3’. Back in January 2015, the makers announced that they are working on the future edition of the series, but following that, developer Gearbox Software and publisher 2K Games are still keeping quiet about “Borderlands 3.” However, that in no way will stop fans of the game speculating as a huge rumour mill pertaining to Borderlands 3 have surfaced on the internet and the increasing demand for a third instalment might just fuel the developers to say something about it after all.

Borderlands 3 : Latest News

The latest “Battleborn” DLC has been reported to surprise gamers with a small Easter egg which gamers think reveals the setting of “Borderlands 3.” Previously, the Gearbox game was set in Pandora, but in the upcoming game, fans think it will be Promethea.

The clue to the “Borderlands 3” on the new Battleborn story was earlier revealed through the vault icon, the franchise’s symbol. The word “Promethea” can be taken out by reading through the letters and turning the vault around. The term refers to a planet in the game where alien technology was found and is said to be the direction towards which “Borderlands 3“.

#What exactly is Promethea? :Promethea is a planet in the galaxy where the Atlas corporation found alien technology and reverse-engineered it in order to manufacture improved starships and weaponry with the benefits of this new technology. The Crimson Lance also have a military presence on the planet, with General Knoxx stating that Roland served “two tours” on the planet. Living conditions  on this planet are presumably harsh, or at least worse than the already difficult life for Pandoran settlers.

Gaming news site MentalMars recently reported that the hunt for the easter eggs for “Borderlands 3” in the first story DLC for “Battleborn” turned out to be pretty productive. For those who haven’t tried looking yet or have not found it, one major easter egg could be found behind on of the gates in Attikus and the Thrall Rebellion.

Borderland 3 : New Character?

Mikey Neumann has considered the introduction of a new character in the upcoming edition. The character will be Scooter’s son, named as Scooper and will appear with a super high-pitched voice. Neumann said, “I did this whole Scooter thing, then I pitch-shifted it up like seven semitones so it sounds like a chipmunk and it was the funniest thing I’d ever heard.”

The main reason for introducing this character is to please Pitchford’s wife, who was devastated by Scooter’s fate in ‘Tales from the Borderlands’. Moreover, Pitchford also warned that Scooter might not make it to the upcoming edition of the Borderlands. The CEO further advised ‘Battleborn’ players to “look deeply” into the game for the content details as the game will come with some references to Borderlands 3. check also : best gifts for wife
