Nokia Set to Launch New Devices in MWC 2017: HMD Global Confirms its Presence

Nokia has been in the news for quite a while now. And all these news and updates have revealed that Nokia is set to make a comeback into the market with their new smartphone devices in 2017. If that is good news for the Nokia fans, a better news awaits them as well. Latest rumours have revealed that the Finland-based brand will be releasing smartphones in the market with Android operating system, most rumours suggesting that it is going to be named as Nokia D1C.

All this while, before Microsoft took reigns of Nokia, this pioneering mobile phone manufacturing brand has been producing phones with Windows as their operating system. That has disappointed a lot of Nokia loyals although many have continued using Nokia smartphones based on Windows operating system. However, it’s time to bring some smile back to the faces of the Nokia loyals as the proceedings have revealed that the upcoming Nokia devices are going to be working on Android operating system.

And the recent confirmation, as stated by the HMD Global, reports that Nokia is all set to make a comeback at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. HMD Global is the prime support which has the yielded the prospect of Nokia making a comeback. So the statement from HMD Global that Nokia will be back in the market during the MWC 2017 somewhat confirms the rumours reagrding Nokia’s return to the market of smartphone.

As it is suggested, there is going to be three new devices coming out in the market next year. One of those is definitely going to be the much talked about Nokia D1C. And the other devices are expected to be high –end Android devices. The leaked images of this Nokia D1C have revealed that the device has got rounded metal edges. Regarding the configurations, it is expected that Nokia D1C will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. Besides that it is supposed to run on a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 octa-core processor. It will have 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage alongside fullHD screen and Adreno 505 GPU.

The couple of flagship devices that are rumoured to be coming out will be of a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch display. The devices might also have a rear camera of 22.6 Megapixel and support 4K video recording support.

Nokia Smartphone Prices:

Various sources have reported that Nokia D1C which is the most prominent one among all the three devices is going to have a price tag of 21,000 INR. And as the speculations have suggested, the other two flagship devices will be having a price tag of around 30,000 INR. However, nothing has been confirmed officially and the rumours are also in a very nascent state.

It is going to be really exciting for all the Nokia fans as well as all the gadget freaks when the Nokia smartphones based out of Android operating system, especially the Nokia D1C, come out on the market. Also, it remains to be seen whether Nokia manages to give a healthy competition to the leading smartphone manufacturing brands across the world and regain the glory that has lost long ago.
