Meizu Blue Charm Family’s Latest Phone Renders Leaked

Days after renders and specifications of the Meizu M5S were leaked, a new phone said to belong to the Blue Charm series have been spotted. The exact name or model number of the new smartphone remains unknown. Meizu has been unrelenting in its quest of becoming the world’s foremost phone manufacturer. The new phone is tipped to release in January 2017. Details remain sketchy, however.

The smartphone as seen on Weibo

The renders of the new phone were leaked on the social networking major, Weibo and cane be seen here. Reports suggest that the new phone will have two features which stand out: a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which will make it a decent performer and a 500W soft flash on the front camera which promises to deliver high-quality selfies and video calling facilities. Like we mentioned, not much about the new phone is known, but the new member of the Blue Charm family is expected to feature a 5-inch screen with a 5 MP front camera. This high-definition front camera will complement the 500W soft flash in ensuring quality selfies.

The Meizu Blue Charm Metal is set to arrive in India early next year and will be powered by the Flyme 5 OS based on the YunOS and a 13MP Auto-Focus camera. The smartphone also features a 2 GHz Helio X10 Octa Core Processor and boasts of a 2GB RAM with internal storage options of 16GB and 32GB. We had earlier reported how the Meizu M5S had cleared TENAA and 3C certification under the model numbers M612Q and the M612M. The new smartphone is yet to sport any model numbers and is yet to shed light on other details. Leaks can often turn out to be untrue and we warn you to take these rumours with a grain of salt.

Meizu will look to launch this smartphone with a relatively inexpensive price tag and will look forward to capitalising on the good reputation it has garnered over the past years. The Qualcomm Snapdragon processor on the yet-to-be-named smartphone will come as a change from the usual Helio or the MediaTek processors which usually power the Chinese major’s smartphones. More news is expected next year.
