Micromax Launched Budget 4G Volte Smartphones in India with Pre-activated Jio Sim

Micromax launched a range of 4G Volte smartphones at less than Rs 5,000, bundled with pre-activated Reliance Jio SIM and it’s Happy New Year offer of free voice and data. The two 4G LTE-enabled smartphones in the budget segment – the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 that sport a metal body built and 2MP front camera for video calling. Targeting first-time smartphone users, the company is pitching video calling through Google Duo, which has also been embedded in the new devices.

Micromax has announced the launch of the new Vdeo1 and Vdeo 2 along with three other latest Budget android smartphones.

Both the phones have very similar specs, and the difference lies primarily in the screen size. Micromax Vdeo 1 has a 4 inch WVGA display, while the Vdeo 2 has a 4.5 inch FWVGA display. Both house a 1.3GHz Quad core chipset under the hood, with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Both phones have a 5megapixel shooter at the rear panel.

These two new budget smartphones bear an immensely affordable price tag with the Vdeo 1 priced  at Rs 4,400 and Vdeo 2 at Rs 4,990 . the devices begin selling in the offline market only from Wednesday. The total range will have five models, the highest costing up to Rs 7,500. These budget smartphones from Micromax will be made locally from this month and will be exported to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other countries. Sales of the phone, have already begun in Russia.
