Moto G5 Plus Leaks Reveal 4GB RAM and 13MP Rear Camera

Lenovo-acquired Motorola has been on a device launching spree recently with the company rolling out the Moto Z variants along with the much awaited Moto mods mobile accessory line-up. Now, the popular smartphone manufacturing company is reportedly set to introduce yet another line of smartphones into the market early in the year adding to their Moto G line-up of premium but mid-range smartphones.

The latest device from Motorola to stir up the internet is the Moto G5 Plus, the successor of the commercially successful Moto G4 Plus. Fresh image and specs leak of a Motorola device give very strong indications that the device in question is most definitely the G5 Plus smartphone. A user in Romania has reportedly gotten hold of the mystery Moto device (model number: XT1685), understood to be a fully functional prototype of Moto G5 Plus, and is selling it on e-commerce site OLX for RON (Romanian Leu) 1,650 (approx. $390/€367/Rs.26,440).

The Moto G5 Plus is expected to be announced by Motorola at the MWC 2017 event in February.

Sporting an outlook significantly different from its predecessor, the Moto G5 is expected to pack in a host of the latest features making it a significant improvement from its predecessor G4 smartphone series. As per the listed specifications of the device, the smartphone is pegged to sport a  5.5-inch full HD display, fingerprint sensor, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13MP primary camera on the back, 5MP front snapper and a 3,080mAh battery. The bottom panel of the devices have a Type 2.0 micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack port as well as NFC, Accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and gravity sensors.

The G5 Plus is expected to be announced in March but we are hoping to get a sighting of it at the MWC 2017 in February. There is no word yet regarding the price or availability of the device as of now and we will be sure to fill you in on more details once Motorola decides to shed more light on their upcoming G5 Plus smartphone.
