LG Launches Affordable Fortune Smartphone With 5-inch Display

LG has launched a brand new smartphone called the LG Fortune with a price tag of $89.99 (Rs 6,000 approx), in the US. It offers exactly what you would expect from a low-budget phone.

LG Fortune offers 4G support.

The smartphone will feature a 5-inch FWVGA display that’ll come with a 480×854 pixels resolution; It’ll be powered by  32-bit Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz and coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. There has been no mention of RAM, but we know that the handset bears 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card to up to 32GB.  The handset will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed by a moderate 2500 mAh battery.

LG Fortune measures 5.7″ x 2.85″ x 0.31″. Speaking of the camera, the handset features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a selfie camera with LED flashlight and HD video recording facility. One of the highlights of the phone is that it offers 4G support along with a bunch of other things like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB port.

It’s worth mentioning that only a couple of days back at the MWC 2017, LG launched its flagship phones on the very first day of the event. The much awaited LG G6 was unveiled, and as far as most loyalists are concerned, the handset did not disappoint.

The South Korean’s company’s latest offering the LG G6 offers an unusual 18:9 Full Vision display, instead of the usual 16:9. It sports a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with 1440×2880 pixels with 564 PPI. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and comes with a 4GB of RAM along with 32GB internal memory that can be expanded via a microSD card. On of the highlight’s of LG, the latest flagship is the almost lack of bezels.

As for the camera, the handset sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with 5-megapixel selfie camera. The handset is backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery and offers sensors like Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Ambient light sensor.
