Sony Xperia L1

Looking at the picture above one can tell the Xperia L1 definitely looks like the handset that belongs to the ‘Xperia’ line of smartphones. The handset sports a  5.50-inch touchscreen display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by 1.45GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor chipset that comes along with a 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

As for the camera, Sony Xperia L1 sports a 13-megapixel camera in the rear with f/2.2 aperture and 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies with 24mm wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. The handset measures 151.00 x 74.00 x 8.70 and weighs 180.00 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 and is backed by a  2620mAh non-removable battery that comes with Sony’s STAMINA mode for battery saving. The dual SIMed handset offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX, Wi-Fi 802.11n, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C.

The highlights of the handset is its sharp screen with an almost edge-to-edge display. The bezel on the top and bottom are thick similar to the Xperia XA1 Ultra and Xperia XZ Premium that was launched at the MWC last month. The edges are round so that one can hold the handset properly. The phone comes in three color options – Balck, White, and Pink.

There has been no official word on the cost of the device but AndroidHeadline reports, the handset will be available only in selected markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, North America and Latin America from April onwards. Included in the package are xLOUD, Clear Audio+ and Stereo Recording capabilities.
