Chinese multinational technology company Vivo launched the V5 Plus in January 2017, and the company rolled out two variants of the device, a gold, and a gray. Most of you must be aware that Vivo sponsors the Indian Premier League and with the first match of the tenth IPL kick-starting today Vivo launched the limited edition of the V5 Plus which is a matte black color variant which has the VIVOIPL embedded on it.
As per a report by Indian Express, the CMO of Vivo India, Vivek Zhang stated that “We are very proud to be introducing the beautiful VIVOIPL limited edition V5 Plus phones on the 10th anniversary of the IPL.” Zhang further said, The idea behind the launch of limited edition phone was to offer our consumers with not just the phone but an experience they can cherish for a lifetime.” The Limited edition of the device will be available on from April 10 and the buyers can get their hands on the Smartphone by order for it from Flipkart or by purchasing it from the Vivo stores.
Coming to the features of Vivo V5 Plus, it bears a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and sports a display screen of 5.5-inches which is secured by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The devices is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 and runs on Android OS, v6.0.
The Vivo V5 Plus is equipped with Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and clocks a GPU of Adreno 506. The Smartphone does not have a microSD slot but the internal storage space of it is 64GB and bears a RAM of 4GB.
Talking about the camera specification of the V5 Plus by Vivo, the Smartphone sports a primary camera of 16MP and a dual secondary camera of 20 MP and 8 MP which comes with an aperture of f/2.0.
However, there might be several people who would want to purchase the limited edition of Vivo V5 Plus and some of them might even want the company to make it a permanent addition to the series.
