GeekBench scores of OnePlus 5 Emerges; Promises to be One of the Better Ones

OnePlus has been in headlines of the news and updates from the field of technology more frequently these days than what it used to be even a few months back. That is quite understandable for the flagship smartphone from OnePlus is nearing its unveiling. The latest news that has come out reveals that the smartphone has scored fairly well in the Geekbench test which has been performed recently.

The single-core testing of the OnePlus 5 has assigned it with a score of 1963 points which is pretty high compared to other smartphones. There are devices which have come out recently and have got better scores than OnePlus. But not many has managed to do so. It’s only Samsung Galaxy S8+ alongside Apple iPhone 7 Plus which has scored more than OnePlus 5.

But the scenario is completely different when it comes to the multi-core testing as revealed by the report on GSMArena. This is because the scores of the Geekbench testing of OnePlus 5 are much higher than its contemporaries. The image of the results of the testing has shown that the device has scored 6687 points which is really incredible. It is better than what big names like the Samsung Galaxy S8+ (both with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and the other variant with Samsung Exynos 8895 chipset), Apple iPhone Plus 7 and many others have managed to score. This comes as great news for the fans of the smartphones of OnePlus who have been eagerly waiting for some concrete news on the upcoming flagship device.

The Geekbench testing always comes up with some update regarding the features of a smartphone and there has not been any exception this time as well. One thing that can be regarded as a confirmed update is that OnePLus 5 will run on an Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

However, it remains to be seen what the actual features of the smartphone turns out to be for there is yet to be any sort of an update on behalf of the authority. Something is definitely on our way as the official launch of the device is looming large, according to the sources. So OnePlus will surely come up with some sort of an update soon.
