Moto Z2 Play Gets Spotted on Geekbench; Confirms Specs

Whether the new modification of slimming down the design at the expense of a less powerful battery is welcomed by fans or not, remains to be seen.

Moto Z2 Play once again appears online and this time on the online page of Geekbench benchmarking website. And like on all other occasions, it confirms a number of features and specs of the much talked about smartphone from Motorola which is owned Lenovo.

Almost all the smartphones appear on the Geekbench before the launch, and there is no exception on this occasion as well. What it does is that it confirms a number of configurations which flow in the air regarding the concerned smartphone, Moto Z2 Play on this occasion. The single-core testing of the smartphone has assigned it with a marking of 891 points which not too bad at all.

The listing of Moto Z2 Play on Geekbench has once again brought to light some of the features of the smartphone

The scores in the multi-core testing are also impressive as well. It has managed to grab as many as 4538 points which is pretty decent hinting at the fact that the smartphone is going to be one of the better smartphones in the market in that range.

Regarding the features and specs of the Moto Z2 Play from Lenovo, the image has revealed a lot. It shows that the smartphone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.21 GHz under the hood paired with a 4 GB RAM. The smartphone is also expected to run on an Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system.

However, the leaks about the Moto Z2 Play have been coming in quite frequently. It has been not long that Moto Z2 Play got spotted on TENAA which also revealed few specifications of the device. One such is the 5.5-inch display which will support a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The internal storage of the device is expected to be of 64 GB. The camera also appears to be a decent one with a 12-megapixel lens on the back and a 5-megapixel one on the front.

There is some confusion regarding the battery backup of the device. It has been stated that the Moto Z2 Play is going to be backed up by a 2,820 mAh. In fact, it is the TENAA certification which has shown that. But there are other sources as well (suggested by The Android Headlines) which have stated that it will be backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery. Hence there are quite a few things which remain under the veil which can be confirmed only when the smartphone gets launched. It is expected that it is not too far away despite no words on that from the developer and we will have to wait for that to arrive.
