Alcatel A5 LED, A7, and U5 HD Coming By July-End, Prices Start At Rs 7,000

Alcatel is planning to bring three new phones to India. These devices are the Alcatel A5 LED, A7 and U5HD and sources suggest that they will launch by July-end or around August. The Alcatel A5 LED will be launched by end of July or first week of August and may carry a price tag of Rs 14,000. The Alcatel A7 will come with a more premium price tag of Rs 15,000, while the Alcatel U5 HD will have the lowest price tag of Rs 7,000.

The smartphones will be sold exclusively online for 60 days, following which it will be sold on offline channels.

Alcatel A5 LED Specs and Features

The Alcatel A5 LED, according to this sources, is a very interesting device and will come with LED covers which will snap at the rear panel and provide different color formations of LEDs to notify different notifications and different contacts.

The back panel LEDs will also be able to be synchronized with the user’s playlist via a pre-loaded app. It will play music based on the blink of the eyes of the users. A battery pack of 3300mAh battery capacity can also be snapped as well.
The Alcatel A5 LED also has a 5.2-inch HD display along with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Underneath, it comes with an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, together with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Storage will be expandable thanks to a MicroSD card.
Underneath the surface, the software side will be admirably taken care of by the  Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and a decent 2,800mAh battery will also be appreciated. The smartphone will offer an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash together with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The Alcatel U5 HD will have a 5.0-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The RAM/ROM will be 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, according to Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India, as mentioned in this source. The camera will be a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for excellent selfies besides video calling.
Other features will include quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, as well as a 2,200mAh battery, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi. Also, expect the latest Android 7.0 Nougat.
