HTC U11 With 16Megapixel Selfie Camera Will Launch In India On June 16

Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC will launch its latest flagship smartphone HTC U11 on June 16 in India. In the launch event, that will take place in New Delhi, the company will also announce the availability and price of the device. The USP of the device is its Edge Sense feature which will allow users to squeeze the smartphone to perform specific tasks. However, the device is sensitive to a number of pressure users put on its metal frames. Users can launch the camera or send texts by squeezing the device. They can even customize the squeeze gesture to access any feature or functionality of the phone. It was launched in Taiwan last month.

HTC U11 is the third smartphone in the company’s ‘U’ series and is the successor of the company’s last flagship HTC 10. The device comes with a 5.5-inch Super LCD WQHD display with a resolution of 2560*144o pixels. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

HTC U11 is available in Solar Red, Brilliant Black, Sapphire Blue, Amazing Silver and Ice White color variant.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz. It sports a 12megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, dual LED flash, BSI sensor and OIS. It also supports 4K video recording and slow-motion. The primary camera is of 16megapixel and features voice selfie, panorama, live makeup, BSI sensor, among others. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. It connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/h/ac, NFC and USB 3.1 Type C-Port, as per The Indian Express.

HTC U11 is currently available in Solar Red, Brilliant Black, Sapphire Blue, Amazing Silver and Ice White color variant. Speaking of its storage, it comes in two storage variants – 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 6GB and 128GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded to 2TB with the help of a microSD card. It is indeed one of the most stylish smartphones out there.
