Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has got a brand new gameplay video. Not only does it show off the breathtaking world of the upcoming game but also showcases the dangers that come along with it to make up a complete package.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy may have started out as a DLC to A Thief’s End, but it went on to become something much greater. The creators have said that the new expansion will have much more playtime than a traditional DLC. With over ten hours of playtime, The Lost Legacy will be more akin to a standalone title that is more than three times the size of Naughty Dog‘s own The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC.
The video that you can watch above starts off with the two protagonists (only Chloe will be playable, however) making their way to the top of a cliff to take in the gorgeous views. But they are quick to realign their attention with the mission at hand- to retrieve an elusive artefact known as the Tusk of Ganesha. They then make their way through the tricky terrains and take down the enemies that are unfortunate enough to be in their way. However, an even bigger threat appears at the end of the video which ends rather abruptly at a crucial point. We are intrigued.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will have Chloe Frazer from the old Uncharted games as the main character, but as you can make out from the video above, she will have ample help from Nadine Ross. The two have a unique relationship that can be owed to their shared interests while at the same time having very different character traits.
The upcoming game will take place in India, and much of what you will see in it has been inspired from the cultural nuances and strong religious connections of the land. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will release on August 22, 2017 in the US for the PlayStation 4.
