Moto M2 Expected to be Launched in October 2017; Will Come in Two Variants

Motorola has got a number of new smartphones scheduled to be released in the coming days. But that is not the end of the launching spree that Motorola seems to be in. And a new smartphone in the Moto M series manufactured by Lenovo which has been in the mix for some time now has got a new release date.

The latest leak has revealed that Moto M2 is going to be released in the month of October this year. And the courtesy goes to one of the most popular leaksters Andri Yatim. In his official Twitter handle, Andri Yatim has revealed that the Moto M2 is going to be released later this year and it will be available in two variants based on its internal features. He has also claimed that the new smartphone is going to be available in more markets this time around.

Moto M2 is expected to be launched in October 2017 according to the latest update

Coming to the estimated specs and features of the Moto M2, the smartphone will come with the 5.5-inch screen. This is very much in line with the trend that Motorola owned by Lenovo has set while launching the Moto M. The dimension of the screen of this new smartphone is set at 5.5 inches, and it will support a full HD display resolution which sounds pretty impressive.

Under the hood, the smartphone will come with a MediaTek processor, and that is according to the leakster’s assumption. A few days back a new smartphone from Lenovo with model number XT1902-3 was spotted on Geekbench which was estimated to be the Moto M2. And if that eventually turns out to be true then the Moto M2 will have the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. The processor will be coupled with a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Another variant of the device is expected to come in as well which will have a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

However, there is nothing at all that has been revealed by the developer. So we need to wait a bit longer in order to get an update on how things might shape up when Moto M2 comes out on the market.
