Nokia is planning to bring its one offering, the Nokia 3, to the United Kingdom on July 12. The price tag is a lowly £120 which translates to a figure of $155. The features are nothing to run to the masses about; however, we do know that 2GB of RAM is up on offer as well as the MT6737 SoC. The new Nokia 3 will be a low-budget smartphone according to the designated specs and features.
Nokia had started the roll out of three Android-based smartphones globally, of which the Nokia 6 was initially available for consumers in China. Now, it seems that both the Nokia 3 and the Nokia 5 are coming to the UK. The Nokia 3 is still not on sale in China, however.
From what we know till now, the UK will be receiving the entry level Nokia 3 on July 12. This means that Nokia, which is essentially a European company based out of Finland, is getting back into continental Europe again. We believe that the new Nokia 3 will be a 5-inch 720p phone which will have a lowly 2GB of RAM and a MediaTek MTK6737 processor. Also on the cards is a built-in storage of 16GB. However, there will also be a dedicated microSD slot which will make the memory expandable by up to 128GB.
The Nokia 3 will ship with an 8MP primary camera that has a f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The secondary or front snapper will be another 8MP sensor with autofocus which will be the selfie camera. Battery capacity is 2650mAh while the battery itself will be non-removable. There will also be an audio jack at the top while a micro-USB port at the bottom will be available for various purposes.
The new Nokia 3 will run Android 7.0 out of the box but there is believed to be an update to 7.1.1. Expected colors are black, white, blue, and copper.
