Nokia 3310 With 3G Connectivity Allegedly Gets Certified by FCC

Nokia for the last few months has managed to grab the attention of the tech enthusiasts with a number of new smartphones. Not just that, the feature phones (Nokia 3310) which they re-launched during the Mobile World Congress 2017) earlier this year have also received accolades from many sectors. In fact, a few days back we came across the update that there is going to be a couple of special edition of the device modeled on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Now it is very likely that Nokia 3310 with 3G connectivity feature is going to be launched in the USA as well.

The US-launch of this new version of the Nokia 3310 is very likely to take place shortly. This is because a new handset from Nokia with model number TA-1036 has been spotted on Federal Communications Communication (FCC). This model number is close to the model number of the edition which Nokia launched earlier this year. So speculations are there that this is going to be the 3G variant of the Nokia 3310.

There are further proofs that the new feature phone from Nokia which has been spotted on FCC will be the 3G variant of the previously launched device. The dimensions of the device which have been brought to the fore by the FCC certification match with that of the previously launched device. So it is very likely that the claim will turn out to be true.

Now the FCC certification has made it clear that the new device from Nokia will support both 2G as well 3G connections in the USA. And the revelations which have been made in this listing of the mobile phone are given in a tabular form.

  • GSM850: 824.2 MHz ~ 848.8 MHz
  • GSM1900: 1850.2 MHz ~ 1909.8 MHz
  • WCDMA Band II: 1852.4 MHz ~ 1907.6 MHz
  • WCDMA Band V: 826.4 MHz ~ 846.6 MHz

Regarding the release date of the Nokia 3310 3G variant in the USA, there are speculations making round that it will be launched alongside Nokia 8 on August 16. So to get an idea on that we need to wait for the time being.
