Sony May Unveil As Many As Three Smartphones at IFA Berlin

Sony has been one of those incredible tech giants who manufactures excellent optical features with its flagship smartphones. For a couple of days, the Japanese multinational conglomerate has been in the rumor world due to the launch event occurring at IFA Berlin 2017 in the fall of August. Now new speculation suggests the company is to unveil a trio combo at the mentioned event.

Sony May Unveil Three Devices at IFA

A Japanese media site has reportedly talked about three new Sony smartphones that are about to get launched at the IFA Berlin. The devices are- the Sony Xperia XZ1, the XZ1 Compact and the third is an unnamed, hence yet to be identified model. The site also stressed on the fact that the Xperia XZ1 is expected to get unveiled on August 31 at the event. Popularly, the model is identified as a small version of Xperia XZ Premium.

The three devices carrying model numbers PY7-56331Y, PY7-81775I and PY7-68552B had been spotted earlier on FCC. Recently, the model number G8341/SO-01K was seen Geekbench, the benchmarking platform. Surprisingly, running Android Nougat OS, the device was shown to be packed up with Snapdragon 835 processor alongside 4GB RAM, which has been speculated about Xperia XZ1.

The handset that appeared on Geekbench has been spotted to be packed with major key specs that have been revealed. A smaller Sony device was speculated to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset alongside a RAM of 4 GB with a native storage of 64 GB. The handset will be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery while sporting a 4.6-inch 1080p display. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. While one of the three smartphones has already been leaked, the other two variants may likely be similar to each other.

Fans would like to get their hands on the three smartphones alongside brilliant design language which may prove to be the ultimate selling point of the flagship phones. Reportedly, Sony’s Xperia XZ1 Compact, sporting a capacity of 2,800 mAh won’t likely be as high-end as the Xperia XZ1.
