The Indian tech giant Micromax has launched the latest smartphone of the company, the Micromax Canvas Infinity priced at Rs. 9999,  today through an inaugural event. This bezel-less handset has been made an Amazon exclusive product and the interested buyers can register to purchase the phone from today only. The Micromax Canvas Infinity will be up for sale from September 1, and with an affordable price and staggering features, it might be proved as a flagship killer to the other contemporary smartphone manufacturers.

So what is the main USP of this newly launched Canvas Infinity handset? Apart from a nearly bezel-less design, the smartphone also comes with an incredible aspect ratio of 18:9. If we talk about the design of the phone, it flaunts an-all metal body, except for the top and bottom edges, where plastic has been used. The Canvas Infinity also boasts of a rear mounted fingerprint sensor, which is another sterling feature of the phone, especially when you compare the price tag against the features you are getting.

As the name suggests, this newest member of the Canvas series comes with a 5.7-inch IPS Infinity display with the screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. This kind of aspect ratio and Infinity Display is generally seen in the high-end devices such as Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+. The Infinity Display panel of the handset makes it easier the split screen viewing and makes the footprint relatively smaller (even smaller than the footprints of those handsets which flaunt a 5.5-inch or smaller display size ).

Coming to the optics front, the Micromax Canvas Infinity flaunts a 16-megapixel snapper at the front end accompanied by real-time bokeh effect and auto scene detection feature. This auto scene detection feature includes portrait mode, night mode, and HDR modes and is one of the major highlights of this handset. At the rear end, the device comes with a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, the Micromax Canvas Infinity is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage capacity. The users can further expand the native memory storage capacity up to 128 GB kudos to the dedicated microSD card slot. The handset runs on the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system straight out of the box and is backed by 2900mAh battery. As per the connectivity features are concerned, the Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with dual SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, and other modern-day connectivity options.
