A variant of the popular Moto Z2 Force has been spotted on benchmarking site TENAA. This means that the new model is set to launch soon in China. We have earlier covered the Moto Z2 Force extensively on its optical front as well as on other issues, including its slim design and dual rear cameras. The new model has a splendid 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Lenovo, which owns the Motorola brand, will hope that with the device getting launched in China, sales figures will go north. Also, this device is available already in the US with a price tag of $720.
The Moto Z2 Force is extremely similar in design philosophy to the Moto Z2 Play, while the latter is already available in China for a month now. The only difference is that the Moto Z2 Force will come with flagship-level features while the Z2 Play will come with mid-range features.
The listing on TENAA also shows off the specs and features of the new Moto Z2 Force. It has on board a 5.5-inch OLED display that packs a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Like we mentioned earlier, this new device has been listed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native or internal storage combination; this combination will be exclusive to China. Powering this device will be the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which has been clocked at a healthy 2.35GHz processor.
Also on board will be a very decent 2565mAh battery. There is, however, a rumor doing the rounds that a Moto Mod battery pack will be made available which will boost the battery life significantly. Expected colors of the new Moto Z2 Force are black and white. It will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 straight Nougat out-of-the-box; however, we are yet to receive any information if it will have touches of the ZUI.
