Before we begin, let us admit one thing: the OnePlus 5, released this year, is a true flagship killer, as advertised by the brand. This device had scored big against the likes of the Huawei P10 and the Blackberry KEYone. Now, a concept design of the next-generation OnePlus 6 has surfaced on the Internet, giving us a slight idea of what the new device might feature.
Despite the fact that the current trends dictate otherwise, the OnePlus 5 had arrived with thick bezels. Now, we believe that the OnePlus 6 will come with a full-screen display, something that is more in line with other flagships. This full-screen display will also have a built-in fingerprint sensor, something that many companies have tried and failed to incorporate.
One of the first things that the video has made evident is the fact that there are dual rear cameras on the rear, stacked vertically. The setup looks suspiciously similar to the one that we see on the Apple iphone 7s. There are also rumors that the rear cameras have 25-megapixel sensors, separated by a dual LED flash which is placed between the two cameras.
Some other features of the OnePlus 6 have also been leaked alongside the concept design. For example, we have witnessed how the top and bottom bezels have now been swept away, alongside the left and right-hand side ones. The top bezel will also boast of a retina scanner. We believe that there will be on board a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED full-screen display.
Since none of the existing OnePlus phones have a dust and water resistant body, we expect that the new OnePlus 6 will have an IP68 rating. The OnePlus logo on the rear glows whenever a new notification arrives. The other great features of the new OnePlus 6 may include 8 GB of RAM. It will, almost certainly, run on the Android 8.0 Oreo while a 4,000mAh battery may be the power source. This battery may come with wireless charging support. Expected colors are Jet Black, Gold, and Pearl White.
