Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Leaked with Major Key Specs

Xiaomi's upcoming device, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor.

Xiaomi‘s entry in the smartphone universe met some positive reviews of the company to feature some cost-effective devices which have had a massive significance on its sales number. Ever since the Beijing-based tech giant introduced its first line-up in the year 2013, the company managed to garner its reputation in the tech universe. After the successful announcement of Redmi Note 5A, it seems the company is all set to roll its latest addition to the mid-range line-up- the Redmi Note 5.

The New Leak Indicates Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 to Unveil with Flagship Specs

The recent leak is delivered from a Weibo post which teases the major specs of the smartphone. Over the past couple of months, Redmi Note 5 has popped up in the rumor mill indicating some of the major key specs. We had reported earlier that the smartphone’s news where it suggested that Redmi Note 5 is expected to come with a mammoth battery of 4,000 battery. Now as per the recent leak, one can expect the smartphone to be a relatively upgraded variant than the one that was recently announced.

In the design language, Redmi Note 5 may sport a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a 16nm Mediatek Helio P25 octa-core processor. As per the processor, the Helio chip consists of eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.6GHz. Two variants will come, while one will sport a combination of 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, the other will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of default storage.

The Redmi Note 5 will a 12MP frontal camera alongside a dual camera of 16MP + 5MP cameras at the rear panel. This Android Nougat 7.1 based phablet will come with MIUI 9 on top. For Indian fans, the variant with Snapdragon chipset will hit the market shelves instead of the variant with MediaTek. For more news here’s the waiting.
