Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Images and Specs Get Leaked Before Tomorrow’s Grand Launch

Fans from all over the world are eagerly waiting for the next gen Pixel handsets, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL to get launched as soon as possible and just before a day of the official launch, the renowned tipster Evan Blass leaked images of both the handsets on his Twitter account.

The leaked images of the Google Pixel 2 have confirmed that the handset is going to sport 18:9 aspect ratio display. On the other hand, the shorter variant, the Pixel 2 will flaunt a 5-inch full-HD screen with an aspect ratio of 16:9. Apart from that, the leaked images have also indicated that both the handsets will come with dual speakers at the front, each at below and above of the screen. The homescreen has also undergone some slight changes and includes details like calendar, weather, scheduled meeting and time.

But the biggest changes the fans are going to witness is on the rear panel of the phone, claimed a report by VentureBeat. As per the report, the rear panel will flaunt glass body and the handset will come in two color combinations. White painted at the bottom half and Black painted at the top half.

As per the specs are concerned, earlier reports indicate that both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage capacity. Apart from the 18:9 aspect ratio, the Pixel 2 XL is expected to sport a 6-inch QHD+ screen and both the handsets may boast of 12-megapixel snappers at the back and will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box.

The Pixel 2 is expected to come with a price tag of $649 (approx Rs. 42,000) for the 64GB variant and $749 (approx Rs. 49,000) for the 128GB one. On the other hand the bigger model, Pixel 2 XL is believed to be priced at $849 (approx Rs. 55,750) for 64GB version and $949 (approx Rs. 62,250) for the 128GB variant.
