Key Specs of the Razer Smartphone Gets Leaked on the Internet

One of the world’s leading laptop and peripheral manufacturer Razer has now tried their hands on making smartphones. As per the earlier reports, the Razer smartphone is going to be a handset dedicated to the gamers only. The upcoming smartphone was creating ripples on the internet for some time, and now finally the smartphone has been spotted on a UK-based listing website, revealing much of its key specs and features.

According to the 3G.co.uk, the listing website mentioned above, the Razer smartphone is going to sport 5.72-inch IGZO display with 120Hz refresh rate, which is great for the gamers, the main targetted buyers of this upcoming handset. Moreover, the handset also features Dolby Atmos audio and dual front-facing speakers coupled with amplifiers certified by THX. We all know that audio plays a big part in the modern video games.

As for the optics are concerned, the forthcoming Razer smartphone is believed to boast a dual camera setup on the rear with a 12-megapixel snapper and a 13-megapixel shooter. Moreover, the smartphone is pegged to back by a 4000mAh battery paired with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ for fast charging. The Razer smartphone is also expected to come with a 4G support and 8GB of RAM.

To develop a gaming smartphone, Razer acquired smartphone manufacturer Nextbit earlier this year. Although the authenticity of these rumored specs is questionable. Because we have seen the online listing websites fail to predict the specs numerous times and most importantly Razer has not said anything officially.

Also, this is not the first time a smartphone manufacturing company has tried to design a handset exclusively for the gamers. The Finnish smartphone giant Nokia earlier tried the same with the N-gage. The Japanese tech conglomerate Sony has also attempted to develop Xperia Play only for the gamers. Even an Indian brand Mitashi came up with the Mitashi Play Thunderbolt almost three years ago.
