Google has made the latest flagship smartphone of the company Pixel 2 XL available in India from today, 15th November. The US-based tech conglomerate has made the handset a Flipkart-exclusive product. The handset will also be available to purchase from various offline stores all across the country such as Reliance Digital, Poorvika, Croma, Sangeetha Mobiles and others. The Google Pixel 2 XL comes with a hefty price tag of Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB variant and the 128GB model is priced at Rs. 82,000. The interested buyers can also take financial aid from various companies such as Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, and others. Google is also offering No Cost EMI option and giving up to Rs. 20,000 discount if the buyers exchange their old phone with it. The smaller variant of this handset, the Google Pixel 2 is already available in India from early November.
In terms of specifications, the Google Pixel 2 XL sports a 6-inch P-OLED QHD screen with a pixel resolution of 1440×2880 pixels. The display also features an aspect ratio of 18:9 and pixel density of 538ppi. The screen is also protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, the handset houses a 2.35Ghz + 1.9Ghz, 64Bit octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset. The processor is paired with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM.The handset further offers 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage space. On the optics front, the Google Pixel XL 2 flaunts a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Autofocus, and EIS technologies. On the front side of the device, an 8-megapixel shooter is placed with a f/2.4 aperture to take selfies.
The Google Pixel 2 XL is backed by a 3,520mAh battery and includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
