Honor V10 Finally Launched, Coming to India in January 2018

The spectacular Honor V10, where Honor is a sub-brand of the Chinese mobile manufacturing giant Huawei, has finally launched the Honor V10 in its native country of China. We had previously informed you of its various specs and features which would have been on the device and we have been proven to be correct in almost all respects. We had, in fact, correctly predicted that the device would launch on this day.

The Honor V10 will possibly make its way to India come January 2018, where it can withstand challenges from the best of the best, if the specs and the price tag are anything to go by. The phone will be launched at a glittering ceremony on December 5 in London as well.

The new Honor V10 launched

The first thing that stands out is the metal unibody design with an almost bezel-less display as well as the dual rear cameras which are exceptionally good at capturing images, especially in low light conditions. Out front is a physical home button which also acts as a handy fingerprint scanner too.

As far as the hard specs are concerned, the new Huawei Honor V10 has a pretty large 5.99-inch full HD+ display that boasts of a screen resolution of 2,160×1,080 pixels. We also appreciate the great aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the Honor V10 is the Huawei’s in-house developed Kirin 970 processor, that also has certain innate AI capabilities. If you wish to buy one, you will get to choose from two memory variants: there is a basic one with 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal/native storage. The higher variant features 6GB of RAM as well as 128GB of internal or native storage.

The Honor V10 boasts a 3,750mAh battery that has a 22.5W fast charging support for extra juice. Like we had mentioned earlier, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. The custom Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0 sits pretty on top.

The Honor V10 price tag is as follows: while the basic variant comes for 2,699 Yuan or Rs. 26, 400, the more premium one comes for 3,499 Yuan (or approximately Rs. 34,200).
