HP, which is well-known for its laptops, has unveiled two new gaming laptops in India. Called the HP Omen 15 and the HP Omen 17, these latest gaming laptops are powered by the latest Intel i7 processors. They have a starting price of Rs 80,990 and have all the latest software updates onboard. Besides, the laptops will also come equipped with the Omen backpack, worth Rs 5,040, for free. The Omen 17 series starts at Rs 1,59,990 onwards.
The HP Omen 15 has a total of five models: CE070TX, CE071TX, as well as CE072TX, and CE073TX and CE074TX. All of these gaming laptops have the same design as well as a 15.6-inch display; only the resolution and the specifications are different, which accounts for the difference in prices as well. Incidentally, the very base model boasts of a Full HD display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The topmost model has an Ultra HD display alongside a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels.

The basic HP Omen 15 has a 2.5GHz 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300HQ which works in tandem with 8GB of RAM and goes all the way up to 16GB DDR4, besides 1TB of internal storage, as well as 2GB of GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU equipped with DirectX 12. Also on offer is a higher variant which comes equipped with the 2.8 GHz 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ. The higher variant has a healthy 16GB of DDR4 RAM, the same 1TB internal storage HDD, besides a decent 128GB NVMe TLC M.2 SSD. All these features are complemented by 6GB of GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, which makes for great gaming functions. Like we said earlier, the base price starts at RS 80,990.
HP Omen 17 Specs and Features
Moving to the HP Omen 17, it comes in two variants: AN009TX and AN010TX. They share a common processor: the 2.8GHz 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ. Furthermore, they are also backed by 16GB of DDR4 memory which can be expanded to up to 32GB. The storage is 256GB NVMe TLC SSD and there is also a 1TB HDD. We especially liked the 17.3-inch Full-HD backlit display that has a splendid resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The GPU front is more advanced: while the AN009TX comes with 8GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, the more upscale AN010TX has a 6GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. Prices start at Rs 1,59,990 onwards.
