After the grand release of the Jio Phone and Bharat 1, another smartphone in this country has been launched at a very cheap price. M-tech, famous for manufacturing handsets at affordable prices has released another feature phone dubbed as the G24 at Rs. 899 only.
In terms of specifications, the M-tech G24 comes with a 1.8-inch QQVGA display. Apart from that, the handset also supports Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and English. The device is backed by a 1000 mAh battery, which according to the company’s claim is rated to deliver 300 hours of standby time and 7 hours of talk time.
As for the memory capacity is concerned, the M-tech G24 handset houses 16GB of expandable storage capacity and also comes with various useful features Bluetooth, wireless FM radio, auto call record, MP4/MP3/WAV player, audio/video recording, and torchlight. But the USP of this feature handset is certainly the dual digital camera placed on the front side for taking selfies.
The Director of the M-tech Informatics Ltd. Mr. Goutam Kumar Jain said during the launch event, “We are a leading brand in the feature phone segment. The M-tech G24 is available in five different colors- Red, Grey, Blue, Brown, and Black. The device will be available for purchase from leading e-commerce sites like Flipkart and Amazon as well as 20,000 retail stores all over the country. So now it will be interesting to see with a much lesser price tag, whether G24 can compete with Jio Phone and Bharat 1 or not.
