Intex, the Indian smartphone, and accessories major, has launched the new Intex Elyte E6 in India. The new phone is a low-budget device which has 3GB of RAM as well as a decent 4,000 mAh battery. Intex has recently been on a spree rolling out the Intex Elyt Dual Smartphone at a price of Rs 6,999. Now, with the Elyte E6, the race for the best such device has only apparently begun.
This new phone is also priced at Rs. 6,999 and it will go on sale in India starting December 15, to be made available exclusively via online retailer Flipkart. The only color option at the moment is Black.
Intex Elyte E6 Specs and Features
Onboard the Intex Elyte E6 is a 5-Inch HD display that boasts a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It also has a 2.5D curved glass on top. To protect minor scratches from happening on the display, there is also a layer of Dragontrail glass on top
Powering the new Intex Elyte E6 is a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek chipset which is decently clocked at 1.2GHz, and works well in tandem with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, the latter of which could have been better. Thanks to the availability of a MicroSD card slot, the innate/native memory can be increased to up to 128GB.
Like its strongest competitors, the Intex Elyte E6 also has very good cameras and imaging facilities. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera that also boasts an auto-focus lens, and which is accompanied by an LED flash. Also onboard is an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper capable of taking excellent selfies and providing great shots.
At Rs 6,999, one of the major highlights of the phone is the 4,000mAh battery, a rarity in this price range. Intex says that this battery can deliver a 16-hour talk time or a great standby time of more than 12 days, all on a single charge.
