Micromax, the homegrown manufacturer of electronics and mobile phones, has listed a new phone on its official site. Called the Micromax Bolt Q3001, this may be the latest addition to the Bolt series, which have proven to be very popular. As of now, we have no idea of how much the device will cost or when it will be launched. We do know that it has thoroughly lower-end features.
Micromax Bolt Q3001 Specs and Features
We do have some idea of what the Micromax Bolt Q3001 has inside. It has a rather small 4-inch TFT display that boasts a color depth of 16.7 million colors. The new Bolt 3001 gets its power from the 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC773 quad-core processor that will be backed, in a welcome move, via 4GB of RAM. The new phone seems to have 32GB of internal storage, which is further expanded to up to 64GB thanks to the micro SD card slot.
As far as cameras and optics are concerned, the device boasts a 5-megapixel rear camera while there is also a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. The main downside is the fact that this phone runs on the now-dated Android Marshmallow while different apps are bundled inside. These apps include Clean Master, Askme, Snapdeal, and Quikr, besides Paytm, News Hunt, and other miscellaneous apps like Housing, Dr. Safety, Hotstar, and Reverie.
Providing the juice to the device is a not-too-decent 1400mAh battery, which, Micromax claims, will deliver up to 200 hours of decent standby time. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and GPS. The Micromax Bolt Q3001 weighs a mere 111.5 grams. Like we said earlier, there is no word as of now how much it will cost while the launch date, if it does release, is still unclear. This phone is a marked departure from the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro, which was released to great acclaim.
