New Case Renders Reveal Samsung Galaxy S9 Duo’s Design

As we already know, come 2018, Samsung, the South Korean giant, will launch two new flagship smartphones, namely the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. Just yesterday, we had reported how some new leaked cases had shown off the design aspects of the Galaxy S9 duo. Now, a new pair of renders have been leaked and they display a decent view of the S9 phones. Let’s cut to the chase.

First and foremost, some of the design aesthetics have definitely been made public via these leaked case renders. The news comes via GSMArena and the cases have been designed by Olixar. It also shows off the design of both the rear and the front portions of the devices. While the Samsung Galaxy S9 appears to have a single rear camera, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ appears with dual rear cameras. Also, the dual rear cameras are vertically stacked, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

While the camera features may be different, we could see the fingerprint sensor located just underneath the camera setup on the rear. The LED flash, as well as the heart rate sensor, have been pushed to the right of the cameras.

Out front, it seems that both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will likely feature the Infinity Display design which means a pretty cool 85% screen-to-body ratio and the recently popular 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Incidentally, both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones which hit the stores worldwide this year have the same display aspects.

On the left-hand side of the devices is the volume rocker and the power button and on the right edge, we could make out a Bixby button. When compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, a more curved design has been spotted as far as these newer smartphones are concerned. We thought we spied a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack (who knew?), and a handy speaker grille at the bottom edge
