Sony Xperia XZs Cheaper by Rs 13,600 in India But Should You Buy One?

Sony has decided to slash the price of its premium segment offering, the Sony Xperia XZs, which was launched in India in April, effective immediately. The device has received a price cut of Rs 13,6000 and is now available for sale on Flipkart at a price of Rs 36,399. If you are a fan of premium features and great photography options, you can go for the device.

The Sony Xperia XZs

The smartphone currently comes in color variants of Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black color options. Note that currently, only the Black color variant comes for Rs 36,399 on Amazon, Flipkart’s rival. The Ice Blue and the Warm Silver color variants are available at Rs 37,750 and Rs 37,495 respectively as well. While the Sony Xperia XZs was first launched on Flipkart, the e-commerce giant currently offers all the color variants of the Xperia XZs for Rs 39,990 on its official website.

The Sony Xperia XZs has some great specs and features and the price tag is pretty justified. It was a bit over-priced earlier, to be honest with you. It sports a 5.2-inch full HD display that boasts a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. At the heart of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, which was the flagship processor of 2016 and is certainly a pretty strong contender to the best processor throne currently. The CPU works in association with the Adreno 530 GPU. Like all Sony devices, the RAM and storage specs are disappointing, with 4GB of RAM and two storage variants: one with 32GB and another with 64GB innate storage options.

The device is also IP65/IP68 certified meaning which signifies water and dust resistance. Powering the device is the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system while ample juice is provided by the 2900mAh battery that also supports the Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Should you be able to shell out the amount, we recommend that you buy the Sony Xperia XZs as soon as possible.
