China to Receive World’s Most Inexpensive Edition of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

South Korean giant Samsung is reported to unveil the 2018 flagship smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The launch date has been scheduled for February 26. Despite emerging leaks and rumors pertaining to the upcoming smartphones, we haven’t received much information about the pricing of the devices. It seems both Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ will have world’s most inexpensive variant, which the Chinese markets will receive.

President of Samsung in China, Gui Xian, has recently stated in an interview that the pricing of Samsung Galaxy S9 in China will be world’s lowest price. One may still count on the numbers, which we expect to be informed very soon. The Samsung Galaxy S9 duo will be launched on 26th February, which is the initial day of the upcoming Mobile World Congress, reports GizmoChina.

According to the leaks so far, the devices will be available for pre-order on and from 1st March and start shipping from 16th of March. However, we are ahead of the company’s official announcement regarding the dates. Leaks after leaks have surfaced online through which we informed that Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will debut in different RAM and native storage variants. While one model of Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with 4GB RAM + 64GB native storage space, another will sport 4GB RAM + 128GB default storage space. The Galaxy S9+ is tipped to come in 6GB RAM with four different storage options- 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Leaks imply that the higher variant of the device will be exclusive in selected markets.

Through the FCC certificationSamsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ were reported with model numbers: SM-G960F and the SM-G965F. Display wise, while the Galaxy S9 will bear a 5.8-inch display, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ will feature a mammoth 6.2-inch display. Reports have surfaced which indicated a great design of the smartphones. We already know how Samsung’s S series devices’ massive popularity is margined to infinity, and therefore we expect the handsets to retain 3.5mm headphone jack, among other anticipations.
