Idea Cellular Offering Upto Rs 2000 Cashback on All 4G Handsets Starting Today

Aditya Birla Group-owned Idea Cellular is offering its customers a cashback of up to Rs 2000 on all new 4G handsets. Starting today, any customer buying a new 4G smartphone will be eligible for the cashback offer, whether they are a prepaid or postpaid user. The company has also notified that this offer is applicable to smartphones of any brand.

To avail this offer, Idea customers need to do a minimum recharge of Rs 199 every month to continue this offer. The special recharge offers unlimited calling facility across all networks, 1.4GB of high-speed 4G data, 100 SMS per day and free roaming calls (both outgoing and incoming) with a validity of 28 days.

Talking about this new offer, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular said that primary barrier to 4G adoption in India has always been the high price of 4G handsets in India. The focus was to make 4G handsets more affordable to the customers willing to upgrade from 2G or 3G technology.

Customers recharging with packs of longer validity like Rs 398, 449 and 459 need not recharge with Rs 199 pack every month. All customers availing this offer need to do a cumulative recharge of Rs 3000 in the first 18 months to avail a cashback of RS 750. The remaining cashback amount of Rs 1250 will be credited to the customers at the end of the 2nd phase of 18 months if the cumulative recharge during that period exceeds Rs 3000.

This offer is also available to Idea postpaid customers with the Nirvana Voice Combo plan of Rs 389 for the entire duration of 36 months. The offer is available until 30th April 2018 starting today.

“Idea’s new cashback offer provides freedom of choice to the customers to use the 4G device of their liking and affordability, as the offer can be availed on 4G smartphones of all brands”, Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular was quoted as saying.

Idea’s new TVC campaign to promote this offer will go on air from today across 100+ TV channels in India.
