Infinix ‘India First’ Smartphone is Set to Launch on February 6

Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer, discovered in 2012, the Transsion Holdings backed Infinix brand is now gearing up to launch a new mobile device in the Indian market next month. More precisely, the smartphone will be launched on February 6 as Infinix ‘India first’ smartphone. The device which will come as a selfie-centric smartphone will be a handset under the “S series” (the selfie-centric series). It will first be launched in India and soon after the launch will follow a pattern of global release. Although, at this point of time, we are ahead of the key specifications and features of the phone.

Some sources claim that the Infinix ‘India First’ smartphone is believed to come equipped with a dual-tone LED flash in order to deliver better selfie shooting even in low-light conditions. On the optics front, the smartphone is likely to come with the Bokeh Effect feature which will give allowance to users to capture DSLR-like pictures with blurry background. It would be worth saying that this coming smartphone is likely to take on the likes of Vivo V7, Vivo V7+, Honor 9, Oppo F5, and the likes.

We have reported how Infinix made the Zero 5 and Zero 5 Pro official last year. In case one missed out our report, here’s what one may check out. The Zero 5 smartphone was available in two memory versions: the 6GB RAM +64GB storage variant (priced at Rs. 17,999) and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant (retails at Rs. 19,999). The main Infinix Zero 5 is a dual camera smartphone which measures a 12MP primary sensor and a 13MP secondary sensor in order to shoot the depth of field information. Up front, the phone is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera alongside f/2.0 aperture as well as LED flash.

To recall, Infinix‘s Zero 5 features a 5.98-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. Shielding the device, there’s a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Underneath, the Zero 5 comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor which clocked at 2.6GHz. On the software front, the handset runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. The device comes backed by a mammoth 4,350mAh battery which offers quick charging support. As of now, the tech industry needs to keep an eye in order to know all things possible concerning the upcoming Infinix ‘India first’ smartphone.
