Some days ago the Finnish tech giant, HMD Global, was revealed to file a trademark application for Nokia 8 Sirocco name. While Sirocco by most dictionaries is defined as a warm, sultry south or even southeast wind along with rain, which is occurring in the same regions, in the tech industry, Sirocco is a model name of a different variant of the Nokia 8.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco device is expected to feature a topnotch design that would apparently get launched globally. Leaks after leaks have surfaced online which has apparently shed lights on the fact that Nokia 8 Sirocco is very much real. The latest leak that we have come across points out that the very same model has appeared in a concept video at Concept Creator with a concept design of the model.
First spotted on the outfit’s Youtube channel, the video showcases the device with a glass body on top a metal fuselage, reports GizmoChina. According to the anticipations so far, the same handset is expected to be a high-end model which will also pack a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is leaked to come with a Zeiss-branded dual camera setup on its rear panel, just under which, the dual-LED flash will house. What’s interesting is the device also packs a dual camera module on the front panel, which makes it a Quad-camera packing device.
Noticeable features also include a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack housed at the top, a SIM card tray just on the right side of the display as well as a USB Type-C port right at the bottom of the phone. The Nokia 8 Sirocco might come in three different color hues: a black rear panel with orange sides, orange accents right around the dual camera module and a fingerprint scanner, an all-black back, and a variant that will sport a blue backside.
The Nokia‘s 8 Sirocco device might sport a 5.5-inch OLED display along with an FHD+ resolution. Powering the device, there would be Snapdragon 845 SoC which would be paired with 6GB of RAM. As of now, here’s the concept video, as we believe that a picture is worth 1000 words.
