Nokia 9, Nokia 1 and Nokia 6 (2018) May Be Available in India from April 2018

As reported earlier, HMD Global, the license holder of Nokia is likely to launch a number of new smartphones at the MWC event, starting from February 25 of this year. They are likely to announce the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 alongside the Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 9 and the Android Oreo (Go edition) based Nokia 1 at the event.

According to a report by Nokia Power User, the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 9 and the Nokia 1 may be available in India, starting from the month of April. This is an interesting revelation for all those who are eagerly waiting the get the latest flagship devices from Nokia on their hands.

However, we are expecting some more smartphones to be made available in India after the launch of the above-mentioned devices. HMD Global is also likely to launch the global variant of the Nokia 3310 4G enabled feature phone soon.

Coming to the specs of the Nokia 6 (2018), it features a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display and a more sophisticated design than its predecessor. It boasts a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset, backed with 3GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery fuels the device.

Talking about the Nokia 1, we do not have much information at the present moment, but a leak has suggested that the phone is Android 8.0 Go Edition based device and may have a metal frame with polycarbonate built body. It may be powered by Snapdragon 212 SoC along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The Nokia 9 may become the third smartphone to be launched in India, after its official announcement at the MWC 2018. It may have specifications similar to that of the Nokia 8 (Sirocco) version with little improvements in the processor and battery departments. However, nothing has been confirmed yet by HMD Global and we need to wait till the launch to get more details about the device.
