Oppo has already launched the A71 (2018) in Pakistan, a few days ago as reported by us earlier. It is available for sale on the official Pakistan website of Oppo. Now as per the latest reports, the phone could be launched in India very soon but with a new name. It is likely to be launched as Oppo A71s.
The Oppo A71 (2018) is an upgraded version of the A71 (2017) which was launched last year. Though the launch date in India has not been revealed as yet, the phone is certain to have the same specifications like the one launched in Pakistan.
The phone features a 5.2-inch full HD display screen with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. Talking about the specifications, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset with 1.8GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 506 GPU to back it up.
It boasts 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. The internal space may be further expanded with the help of a micro-HD card. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with 3.2 Color UI.
Coming to the optics department of the device, it features a 13-megapixel sensor at the rear of the phone with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. An LED flash is also provided and the camera may be used to record full HD videos at 1080p resolution. It also boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling with f/2.4 aperture and fixed focus lens.
On the connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C charging port and 3.5mm audio jack connector. It is fueled by a non-removable 3000mAh Li-ion battery enough to last through the day and u to 15 hours of full HD video watching experience. The exact price of the device has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to cost around Rs 9.990 in India, making it one of the best smartphones under Rs 10,000 price tag.
